I was commissioned to create several fictional print pieces for the film "Amygdala", a visually ambitious project that has since been nominated at NXT UP FEST 2025 for Best Director, Best Actress, Best Cinematography, and Best Picture. My role involved designing a fictional vintage-style magazine titled "Playwithit", inspired by classic Playboy issues. I created the full layout, including the cover, middle spreads, and back pages, ensuring the design matched the film’s time period and tone. In addition, I designed a fictional World War II book, developing both the front and back covers, as well as a period-accurate fictional newspaper, "The Daily Mirage," which was featured in a key scene. This project allowed me to merge storytelling with design, crafting believable, era-specific materials that contributed to the immersive world-building of the film.
