I was commissioned to create a series of fictional print assets for the film Amygdala, a visually ambitious project later nominated at NXT UP FEST 2025 for Best Director, Best Actress, Best Cinematography, and Best Picture. My work included designing a vintage-inspired magazine titled Playwithit, influenced by classic Playboy issues, where I developed the full layout across the cover, interior spreads, and back pages to match the film’s period and tone. I also designed a fictional World War II-era book and a period-accurate newspaper, The Daily Mirage, featured within key scenes. This work focused on blending design with narrative, creating authentic, era-specific materials that enhanced the film’s overall world-building and visual storytelling.
